Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 9000 ECU out of a 1995 9000 V6. Part numbers listed at top. This is Specific to 1995 9000 V6 models only! This is a hard to find unit. If you have a 1995 9000 V6, keep it going, as these are very unique and rather rare cars. In the US, 1995 was the last year for the V6 in the 9000, as well as the last year for the CDE.
A defective ECU is one of the most common no start or random stalling problems with Motronic controlled cars. These can also be a problem with erroneous check engine lights / emission control issues. If yours does not have this problem, keep an extra ECU in the trunk, you might some day be glad you did… These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for list price ($1784.26 from SAAB) and finding a good one second hand is getting to be a real chore. Thanks for looking and good luck! Buy it before someone else does, even if you don’t need one right now but intend to keep your car for a while or drive it long distances. You can’t afford not to buy this, even if you don’t need it now! These are located under the cowl on 9000’s ( the plastic piece the wipers sprout out of) on the driver side.
